Diamond Beach is a gooooo!

Hurrah! I got my acceptance e-mail for the Diamond Beach swap meet! I threw down my booth fee so it’s official. A new event on an interesting piece of property along the Allegheny river….

“ Diamond Beach is a one-of-a-kind marina community on the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, PA. We're a bunch of freaks and weirdos creating an inclusive place where folks from around the world can enjoy nature, the ever-changing river, and events and fun times on the 18+ acre, centrally located East End property.

We own 1.4 miles of riverfront at the lock right above the Highland Park Bridge, including wooded acreage, marina, warehouse-party shed with killer sound system, secure storage lot for boats and other trailers and vehicles, glamping vintage trailers and houseboats.”

I’m excited to say the least- we don’t live in an area where “Party Beaches” really exist so it adds a little spice. Plus Bikes. I’ve been a bicycle enthusiast forever but I’ve been trying to be a motorcycle enthusiast for awhile. I got my motorcycle license at 28 but have yet to procure the space, dare I say funds, to commit to buying a decent bike. Maybe I’ll find my dream ride there? Will I even remember how to switch gears? Who knows? Hope to see you May 25th!
