What a weekend! So glad I had the most incredible help from my beautiful friend Lindsay! She saved my ass in so many ways and even helped me keep my inventory straight! A truly difficult if not impossible feat by myself- we were in the convention center with the wave of Cleveland pride crashing down upon us in all its rainbow glory- I’m thinking next year I’ll just booth pride because it was a beautiful outdoor event with SO many incredibly beautiful people! It was great to see everyone and we were very very busy! So grateful for all the magical love! Lindsay and I took our appropriate adventures around Cleveland afterwards, checking out Tomo Sushi for dinner Saturday night. Sunday we did west side market ( where I dropped $50 on wild exotic fruit I’ve never tried) and got hustled by the best baby salesman I’ve ever met. He’s a threat to the rest of the market and we’re proud of his sales performance. We then we bounced over to Table Top cafe which was fucking adorable beyond words. It’s the most whimsy with a delicious and simple food & drink menu. We then popped over to the Buckland museum of witchcraft which was my real reason for everything- it was small but high quality and the staff were top notch. I met a lovely woman and her Tasseography tea cup collection! We bonded over our love of beautiful tea themed objects and collectors. I bought a cool looking book about Chiron and a sweet t-shirt, blood stone, black shugga, Labradorite and rainbow moonstone for my small but lovely crystal collection - felt appropriate! Also spotted a sketchy looking building with boarded up windows called the “Tattoo Café” which had a moldy van in the parking lot with trash in the window that was partially decaying. I’m pretty sure there’s a body in it but I wasn’t going to look. Linz found an adorable baby pineapple plant to adopt at an even more adorable coffee shop under a kung fu academy. Cleveland was cool AF. As always I need an extra 2 days to be a tourist and see allll of the things but big surprise -I am not rich in the money sense. I know this is Heresey but I could see my self near the Great Lakes someday. I love the flatness of it all- I did not have an aneurism driving anywhere it was incredible. On the way home we hit up the classic Midwest rest stops where we each got jumbo squish mellows for our fur & human babies. So much fun 10/10 would do it again!
